Ice Cream 41
Khartoum Extension St 41
One of the original “Ice Cream” shops. I remember I went there with friends since the early 90’s..
When I joined the Ice Cream 41 group on FaceBook.com I decided to reacquaint myself with the place. I took my kids with me. I was salivating on the promise of a wonderful Ice Cream experience.. especially that Khartoum acquired fierce competition on the Ice Cream front.
I remember a fantastic Ice Cream shop called Marmara.. that was located in Street 15 where Laylaty is now. They served unbelievable Ice Cream. That used to be an important night-out during the first few months of my marriage..
Ice Cream 41 was packed full. We waited in line for a few minutes. All the while the promise of an excellent taste made us drool.
We finally got hold of the Ice Cream, the transparent cups were nice, that way you see the whole portion.
The IceCream was good but it did not live up to the hype..
Remember those competitors we mentioned? Well they needn’t worry for now.
Khalid Ice

East of the Shambat Bridge Round About in Khartoum North
Khalid Ice is a whole sale shop first and formost. They do have products for retail. The packaging my not be up to scratch, but they make up for that in taste. The range of products is limited.. remember the sell for wholesale who buy the ice cream and customize.
My kids love it so much.
Syrian House
Al Sababi Road, Khartoum North
The Syrians have been doing great business in the food industry, and the Syrian House have had an early start. Besides Middle Eastern cuisine, middle eastern sweet come middle eastern desserts. Their Ice Cream is great tasting, and last time I checked it had a thick yoghurt texture.
My brothers prefer this more than my kids..
Hilton
Al Mogran, Khartoum
You always know where you are tastebud-wise with Hilton.
You are in five stars country here.
The Best.
Great taste, great flavors and wonderful experience.
I remember I had my first ice cream float there.
WOW. Just wow.
So if you want to treat someone.
The Hilton is a sure winner.
Ozone
Khartoum 2
A recent addition to the whole restaurant experience, and the one place which made Khartoum a great capital to live in.
Ozone is a great open air restaurant.
Their pastry section is a delight and the ice cream is the most luxurious in Khartoum.
You have to go to Ozone right now.. and order something..
You wont regret it.
In fact I want some Ozone Ice Cream so much right now.
