In 2013 I was part of establishing and running a bank. Three years on, shareholding of the bank changed and the new shareholders desired a change of everything.. the name, purpose, and place of operation. So it was declared that everybody is moving to THE NEW PLACE. By the end of 2016 this was 95% done.
Part of the 5% that still remained in the same old premises were the vice Chairman and the Deputy manager. My job as company secretary was linked to those two, whilst all my files and computer were moved to the new location.
The new office is cool, overlooking the capital's airport. I watch all those who are flying out and all those who are arriving. So this is what air traffic control view looks like.
I divided my work into two segments.. the first half of the day at the old place.. and the second in the new.. calling myself bi-officed.
Today I tweeted
a new kind of status (bi-officed) soon enough will have to succumb to societal pressure and call myself (metro-officed)
People who know me are familiar with my sense of humor. In this cast linking the bi-office term to bi-sexuality, and quickly inserting g the newer diluted (metro) in the equation. Metro-sexual.. metro-officed ?
Even if it didn't work.. it sparked this blog entry.
